The Valley of Flowers is a high-altitude Himalayan valley that has long been acknowledged by renowned mountaineers, botanists, and in literature. It has been recognized internationally for over a century and is referenced in the Hindu religion. Local people have visited the valley since ancient times. Indian yogis are known to have visited the valley for meditation.The Valley of Flowers has many different colorful flowers, taking on various shades of colors as time progressed. The valley was declared a national park in 1982 and is now World Heritage Site.
This richly diverse area is also home to rare and endangered animals, including the Asiatic black bear, snow leopard, musk deer, brown bear, red fox, and Himalayan blue sheep. Birds found in the park include Himalayan monal pheasant and other birds at that altitude. At 3,352 to 3,658 meters above sea level, the gentle landscape of the Valley of Flowers National Park complements the rugged mountain wilderness of Nanda Devi National Park to the east. Together, they encompass a unique transition zone between the mountain ranges of the Zanskar and Great Himalayas. This valley is at an altitude of 3250 m and above. It is also a core zone of Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve with an expanse of 87.5 sq km which is a colorful paradise of alpine flowers. According to the legends, it is believed that this is the place where Pawan Putra Hanuman had collected Sanjeevani Buti to cure Laxman. Listen to the sound of birds chirping and the musical sound of the stream during the trek, the soothing breeze and the enchanting beauty lure away the nature lovers and the photography lovers. With the backdrop of the mountains and the scenic trail, you will feel as you have definitely landed in the land of fairies.

Itinerary
Day 01: Dehradun To Govind Ghat(Drive-310 KM, 10 Hr)
We will start the day early morning from Dehradun to Govindghat, from Rishikesh we will move along the Ganga river till Devprayag. At Devprayag you can witness the holy confluence of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda Rivers. After Devprayag we will take the route of Srinagar, Joshimath along the Alaknanda river. The route is extremely beautiful where you can enjoy the view of the river Ganga, cable bridges, monkeys, vultures & kites, etc. Govindghat is the small town on the route where you can have access to mobile networks, ATM, scenic view of step farming.
In Govindghat you will stay at hotel. Dinner & Snacks will be served at Hotel

Govindghat:
Govindghat is a small town located at the confluence of the Alaknanda and Lakshman Ganga rivers. It lies around roughly 22 kilometers (14 mi) from Joshimath on NH58 at an altitude of 6,000 feet (1,800 meters).
Dinner: Organic Rajma with flavor of garlic & onion, organic fried potato with Jakhya (Jakhya –Cleome Viscose, is the spice used in Garhwali dishes to feel the exotic taste of buds), Kandali ki Sabji (Vegetable of Nettle), chapatis & red hilly organic rice with clarified butter of Badri cow & Aamlach (sauce made from local fruits; the taste is very sour and your mouth will salivate whenever you think of the taste).
Day 02: Govindghat to Ghangaria (14 KM/7 Hr)
We will leave Govindghatin early morning after having a light breakfast. The trek is of moderate difficulty, going along the lush green forest.
At Ghangaria we will set up our camp in night where you will see the mesmerizing view of the Milky Way Galaxy. We will set up camp & will enjoy the music.
Evening tea, Snacks & Dinner will be served in Tents
Day 03: Ghangaria to Valley of Flower & Back to Ghangria(Trek 5km, one-way/ 3hrs)
After breakfast from Ghangariabase camp we will move in early morning towards Valley of Flowers. The path to the valley in itself is very beautiful and is full of Flowers. Here you can see Himalayan poppies, many small waterfalls, countless Flowers.The wild flora creates a rich eco-system for many species of birds,butterflies, and insects too. It has very beautiful views and is very picturesque.
After visiting the valley we will come back to Ghangaria & stay at tents. Evening tea, Snacks & Dinner will be served in Tents will welcome you with below special attractions.

Day 04: Ghangaria to Dehradun (Trek 10 Km/3 Hr & 296 Km Drive)
On day four we will start trek downwards to Govindghat after having light breakfast, after 3-hour journey we will reach Govindghat. Here we have arranged a four-wheel drive till Dehradun. Lunch & Tea will be served on the way.
